Supporting Local Entrepreneurs:

Establish a small business incubator near the transit center to nurture local startups, with a focus on minority-owned and women-owned enterprises—turning economic growth into opportunity for all.

Alignment with City Goals:

Design this initiative to align with San Diego’s Climate Equity Index and Promise Zone objectives, ensuring growth is sustainable and inclusive.

Funding Strategy:

Leverage Opportunity Zone incentives, Proposition 1 funding, and the San Diego Foundation’s $400 million Housing Impact Fund to bring this vision to life without overburdening taxpayers.
